About me

I am EVELYNE, a singer-songwriter who has discovered music as a powerful tool to reinvent herself and who wants to give hope and joy to others. Growing up in Vienna with roots in Austria, Indonesia and China, life has taught me to unite the different facets of cultures and emotions. In my songs, the sounds of the 50s to 70s merge with folk, jazz and world music to create a unique blend tuned to 444Hz – a frequency that will touch you deep inside.
My music is for everyone who longs for more depth, authenticity and inspiration in life.

My path to music began at a time of great change.
After a personal upheaval, I discovered songwriting and the guitar as a means of expression to give myself hope and courage.
I have been performing as a solo artist since 2013 and have released my first single
"Wake Up" on Teajoint Records.

In 2020, I founded my own label, Danburite Records, to be able to realise my artistic vision independently.

With the "Währinger Wohnzimmer" project, I created a platform together with
Ulrich Allroggen in 2022 to bring people and artists back together after a period of isolation.

I see my music not just as a form of expression, but as a journey to myself - a journey that I want to share with others. With my songs and lyrics, I want to inspire you to walk your own authentic path and move through your life refreshed, alive and courageous.

Event organiser

Together with Ulrich Allroggen , I founded the Kulturlicht Wien association in 2021 and have been organising events in the cosy venue, called ‘ Währinger Wohnzimmer ’ since 2022: Concerts and readings in a small setting of a maximum of 25 people.

💡The idea:
After years characterised by isolation, we want to bring audiences and artists together in an intimate, small setting.
The focus in the Währinger Wohnzimmer is on the pure enjoyment of cultural creativity. - Culture as food for the soul.
The artists should be valued and featured again. 

💫 About the pilot project 2022 and how it will continue: We started with 9 concerts with artists from a wide range of genres in June, July and August 2022. During this period, the project was funded by the City of Vienna: Urban District Culture and Interculturality and also by the Währing Cultural Budget.

There is currently no further funding, but this does not prevent us from continuing to organise concerts and readings on a small scale. From December 2024 we will reopen the Währinger Wohnzimmer (Währing Living Room) for art and culture and also for other events, including workshops.

120€ per day / event including: technical equipment and use of the kitchen,
(tea bags and coffee powder are available, milk is in the fridge),
cleaning afterwards.

50€ für for graphic design and advertising on our platform.
