The healing power of 444Hz music

... or my personal journey as a singer-songwriter to 444Hz tuning

I remember my Chinese-Indonesian uncle Gabriel lying in his hammock with his guitar, taking a break from his difficult everyday life. He was a quail farm owner and guitar maker for tropical wooden guitars on the outskirts of Jarkata in Indonesia. This peaceful picture of him in a hammock was imprinted in my heart like a treasure when I was young.

Many years later ... As a newly divorced woman, I was sitting with my daughter in my new, small home, licking my wounds after the separation and saying goodbye to the dream of idyllic family happiness. Then my uncle came back to my mind. I heard the sound of his guitar and saw his relaxed smile. ‘Buy yourself a good guitar and remember how healing music is!’ That's what I heard inside me and then I was standing in a music shop trying out all the guitars. I deliberately opted for a more expensive guitar. I'd heard somewhere before that you should start with a good, expensive instrument because it motivates you to keep going. And suddenly a new path opened up for me that I didn't see coming...

I left my guitar open on a guitar stand in the room, just like my uncle did back then. Whenever I found time, I grabbed the guitar and strummed away, remembering the plucking patterns he had patiently taught me. The sound of the strings spread through the wooden body of the guitar and further into my body. I felt a pleasant vibration in my stomach and my heart. It made me cry.

From today's perspective and as an energetic practitioner, I can describe what happened inside me: pent-up feelings and blockages caused by the loss began to flow and were able to leave my energy field. An inner healing process was stimulated.

You're probably wondering what this has to do with 444Hz? 🙂

... At some point I started humming along. Melodies and lyrics emerged in my head and I experimented with the different moods when tuning the guitar. At first I tuned by ear and when I bought a proper tuner, I tuned my guitar to 440Hz - as is the norm. But I noticed how my voice suddenly felt blocked and could no longer connect with the guitar. I had to use force to achieve a vocal resonance and I no longer perceived the guitar as a support. I found this frustrating because I had already experienced this fusion before. By chance, I discovered the function of the different Hertz frequency settings on my tuner and tried them all ... What can I say: At 444Hz basic tuning of my guitar, I experienced this connection between my voice and the guitar again. It started to flow ...

Back then, I was a long way from a career as a singer-songwriter.
I just healed ...
